Ubud is a just a small but remarkable town in the middle of Bali island. For more than a century, it has became Bali’s pre eminent centre for fine arts, dance and music. It used to be a haven for scruffy backpackers, cosmic seekers, artists and bohemians, now Ubud is a hot spot for literati, glitterati, art collectors and connoisseurs. Everyday, the sidewalks of Ubud are always look so busy. Elegant five star hotels and sprawling mansions now stand on its outskirts, overlooking the most prized views in Bali. yet, Ubud is still popular with backpackers, mystics and all the finest fringe elements of global society. Traditional and exotic culture in Ubud is not “ruined”, it’s character is too strong to be destroyed. people still dwell in art, nature, anthropology, music, dance, architecture, environmentalism, “alternative modalities,” and more activities.

If you’re in Bali looking for culture, comfort, nature and inspiration, Ubud is arguably the best place to use as a base. It surrounded by most of the things that bring people to Bali — scenic rice fields, small villages, art and craft communities, ancient temples, palaces, rivers, cheap accommodation and unique luxury hotels. And it’s central location makes it easy to get from Ubud to the mountains, beaches, and major towns.

But you need to dig a little deeper to find out the real Ubud. There are plenty of interesting things on the main streets, but most of the magic of Ubud is hidden away. In the backstreets, backwaters, courtyards and cafes. In people’s hearts, minds, and dreams. Just google it, perhaps you’ll find those missing parts of Ubud. And when you have enough information about ubud, maybe it’s the best time to come to bali and visit this “enchanted angel”. Welcome to Ubud…
