Face the Music exhibition featuring the paintings of artist Cortez Curtis infuses fine-art industry with electrifying energy. A sense of excitement and invigoration pervaded the second annual solo art opening exhibition hosted at the Health4Life Chiropractic Wellness Center 1522 N. Halsted St. Chicago. The show left a lasting impression on exhibitor and attendees alike which featured more the 40 new originals paintings and limited edition prints, created specifically for the show ranging from traditional art to abstract contemporary large scale installations. Art auction and the raffle of original paintings by the artist valued at well over $1000 added the to festive environment. Attendees enjoyed a host of special events, including a well attended opening night art auction, raffle , celebrity appearances by Sax Man Malcolm Holly and  Rap artist Vincent Black along with on site demonstration and consultation by Dr. Anthony A. DeNeal. "Along with seeing many familiar faces in attendance it was even more enjoyable to meet the fresh new emerging Chicago artist like Brianna Porter, Rachel Frain, Vince Bertolami and Bryan Butler who were able to attend the opening show. We  made a lot of new connections with whom we are  looking  forward to building relationships in the future". The popular Face The Music showing was a great start for the Chicago Artist Month which kicked off this month with the dynamic painting exhibition featuring artist Cortez Curtis. Inspired by a pinched nerve he created abstract contemporary portraits in categories ranging from the human nervous system to traditional landscapes and Chicago city sky lines. The free exhibition will run through the month of October Monday-Thursdays 3-6pm.
