Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's boy wonder, is looking to snap up all that unemployed talent in the tech world. Since engineers are now working at Mickey D's, Facebook wants to expand its workforce by up to 50%. Perhaps some of the chat and link-posting kinks can get worked out with up to 500 more employees.
Facebook wants to start making money next year- no word on the rates for new employees: will they be offered pre- or post-recession wages?
“No one else has been hiring,” Zuckerberg, 25, said in an interview. “It’s been a great environment for us because the economy has helped out.”
Facebook already has a thousand employees.
