Fan Cries Until Justin Bieber Shows Up

So it's come to this. A three-year-old fan cried (on Youtube) until Justin Bieber showed up at her house. If you were to replay the video, that poor kid would be crying forever and ever. Fortunately, Justin Bieber put an end to young Cody's misery by appearing at her house and tweeting about it. Meanwhile, Cody's mom and older sister (Cheyenne, who also tweeted about the encounter) are about to feel the lifelong fallout from when a little girl learns that crying will actually get her what she wants. 
That's a pretty nice thing to do for a fan, but young pop stars 'round the globe must ask themselves: to what extend is a three-year-old a discerning music fan, and to what extent can they be generating those tears based on their own musical tastes? 
If she were to say the word "manipulation", would it sound like "manipulathen"?
Also, how hard, precisely, must I cry for the music world to stop churning out tween pop stars? Seriously. I'm ready.
