Fark is back up... but I promise it was down earlier.

ZOMFG! Fark is down! What will we do without Fark, source of bizarro news that has its own "Florida" section? Fark, the brainchild of Drew Curtis, is a moderated community link-sharing site where users submit news article links with snarky (farky?) one-line intros. Fark gets something like 4 million unique hits a month. I don't know if Fark was attacked, or if it's just getting crushed by legit traffic.

Watch, by the time you read this, Fark will be back up, and I'll have soiled myself for nothing. Either way, before too long you'll be able to get your fix of dumbass criminals doing dumbass things... in Florida.

The official word at beerspill.fark.com is that there's a router problem upstream from FARK. However, I noticed that the routing tables as far along as OUR routers are showing FARK as unreachable. Tracert isn't just going as far as the routers upstream from FARK, it's stopping even shorter than that!

I fear that even once the routers upstream from FARK get fixed, it'll take a while for all the other routers to propagate that info. :-P
