American justice is a myth. Civil rights only apply to those in power. Rivals are to be treated like Robin Hood - hunted down and defamed. King John (former Illinois Gov.Big Jim Thompson), his inherited Lordships (Daleys, Madigans, Beavers, Strogers, Burkes, Jones), the Sheriff of Nottingham (Cook County Sheriff Michael Sheahan & now Thomas Dart) and the Cardinal (Cook County States Attorny Richard Divine & now Anita Alvarez) will make sure power is in the "right" hands and dissent is quashed viciously.

Spend millions maintaining a sham parole system; murder, batter, and illegally drug inmates to stop complaints or simply for sadistic purposes; retaliate against whistle blowers to cause a civil death with false charges and defamation - that's fine!  Don't forget that female witnesses against corruption can be destroyed and defamed as sluts, nuts, and criminals with just a few words. As long as the FBI, U S Attorney, Illinois State Police, and Illinois Governor know about it, you're safe!

Based on what has happened to me the last nine years, civil rights in America is a myth and only applies if you are rich enough to confront using the legal system.  Women are vulnerable targets and foder for those with premeditated, malicious intentions including all the civil systems you have named.

It is truly a sad state of government.

The Cook County Illinois State Attorney's office cost taxpayers millions every year that they shouldn't have to pay. For every court session there is two or three assistant state attorney's, and that isn't including all the state employees that are sitting in the galley to make it appear the state has people on their side. It's nothing for the state attorney's to commit fraud in court, Malicious Prosecution, Abuse of the power and misconduct is common with the Cook County State attorney's office.Anyone that ever believes they are doing what they do for "the People of Illinois" are really in a cloud and need to go and sit in some of the courtrooms at 26th and California and see how the state attorneys act. There is no such thing as "justice' anyone that has had dealing with the system knows that. The judges are no better, allot of them are ex-prosecutors and no matter how well your lawyer does they will still side with the state attorney's. The judges and state attorney's become very good friends as they are assigned to the same courtrooms all the time.Just be very careful as to what you at 26th California. If there is a state attorney that doesn't like what you say they can dream up bogus charges and  get you locked up for it.As far as the jail is concerned the cook county sheriffs department treat the prisoners like dirt. the have control issues and take it out on the prisoners. The jail isn't understaffed as they would like you to believe, they just need to have the jail guards that are there to do their jobs instead of standing around talking with each other or off  sleeping in rooms where they think no one can see them. Yes, I had the displeasure of being in county jail once because a state attorney wanted me out of a courtroom I was in supporting someone else. I had no criminal record until not thanks to the Cook County State Attorney's office.
