This story is a few days old now, but in case you missed it, Feist's forthcoming Sesame Street performance has been leaked on YouTube. Surprisingly, she makes the jump from hipster darling to toddler sweetheart quite seamlessly. Counting to four has never been more stylish.

Speaking of unlikely Sesame Street stars, apparently Will Arnett is scheduled to appear on the show later this season. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Will Arnett fan, but won't he kind of, well, screw up a lot of kids?

Canadian singer Leslie Feist is singing for a new audience — the under four set.

The soloist, who had a huge hit with her song 1-2-3-4, has adapted it for Sesame Street.

She appears dancing down Sesame Street in a version of the song which helps children learn how to count to four.

The song sticks to the original melody, but Feist has modified the words, singing "I love counting, counting to the number four" as she counts Sesame Street monsters, penguins and chickens.

The episode is scheduled to appear Aug. 11, but a YouTube video of her performance has been posted.

Other notables to appear on Sesame Street's 39th season include Will Arnett, Jessica Alba, David Beckham, Heidi Klum, Neil Patrick Harris and Jack Black.

Sesame Street issued a press release saying it will "play on pop culture with all new parodies including: 30 Rocks, Pre-School Musical and Are You Smarter Than an Egg Layer."

Jim Henson would have loved this!

Strangely, I prefer the Sesame Street version to the original.  Mind you, I'm convinced their "12" song was what got me into Jazz!
