If you thought that there was a Ferris Bueller sequel coming up, you thought wrong.

Honda has released a preview ad for their 2012 Super Bowl commercial that features none other than Matthew Broderick himself, the star of the hit 1986 movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It was the top grossing film in that year. In the 10 second ad teaser, he opens up his window and asks himself, "How can I go to work on a day like today?"

This description of the video on YouTube says:

We hate to be such a tease, but on a day like today, we just have to. Stick it out until the Super Bowl, or take a “day off” on Monday and catch the big reveal.

A source says the commercial will mimic much of the movie, only featuring Hondas.

Jalopnik reported that The Hangover Director Todd Phillips is putting the whole gig together.
