First Time User Recommends NowPublic

NowPublic is a global news sharing network where people from all over the planet can create a personal profile, load videos, pictures, and potentially publish news articles.  NowPublic is based in Vancouver and has thousands of reporters all across the world that are sharing news through this expanding news organization.  There are many features that a new member can check out and participate in.  You can click on the tab that says Newsroom where you are introduced to the NowPublic community and are provided various networking tools to report your news through.  You can upload photos and videos, connect NowPublic to you mobile phone, collaborate with you facebook account, and various other tools to report news.

In the Forum section, you can voice your opinion on how the NowPublic organization is operating and any complaints or suggestions for NowPublic.  Members of NowPublic receive points for how active they are on NowPublic.  Most members with a lot of points are usually very good writers and get most of their articles published.  The messages tab takes members to a page where they can send messages to each other.  Under this tab there are other tabs that allow members to access their “Channel,” and “Dashboard,” which are basically their homepage, but on two separate pages.  Members can also edit their profile and settings here as well.

For those of you who are interested in bashing corporations or voicing frustrations, the Truemors feature is for you.  Here are articles that are mostly corporate gossip, but entertaining.  NowPublic covers all aspects of news coverage including local, global, sports, style, and the strange.  This first time user highly recommends NowPublic to the world.
