five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes

When we heard that RENT will be closing it's curtains for good this June, we HAD to go see it on Broadway. Hence the trip to NYC! Oh what I would give to see the entire original cast perform this live. I'd probably name our firstborn RENT! hahaha

Our first encounter with RENT was when we saw it at the Jube years ago. Hadn't heard of it at the time. It was part of a 3-show Broadway package that also included Beauty & the Beast and Jekyll and Hyde. RENT was the one I was least excited about but turned out to be our favourite show! Then of course the movie comes out, which K. says is on a 24-hour loop in our house. =P

A big regret is that we never went to NYC when Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp returned for a short stint as Roger and Mark. Nobody can replace those two!! Although I must say that Tamyra Gray is so far my favourite Mimi!!
