New Zealand’s fourth most popular digi-folk comedy band, Flight of the Conchords,  are set to hit TV airwaves on January 18th. The much anticipated second season to the widely popular HBO series chronicling the lives of Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie in NYC as a struggling band.

Season one brought us such memorable moments as: Bret quitting the band, the duo shooting a video for the song “Robots (The Humans are Dead)”, Bret quitting again, a mugging, a helmet designed to look like a hairstyle, and band manager Murray Hewitt finding success with another band called Crazy Dogggz.

Season two picks up shortly after the meteoric rise of the Crazy Dogggz with the Conchords continuing the struggles in NYC. HBO has been nice enough to post the season premiere online for all of us to enjoy. Watch it here.

If you're outside the US, (in the Conchords' native New Zealand, for example), the link above doesn't work. Either use a proxy, or the file-sharing method of your choice. (HBO obviously wants to give the episode away, but hasn't quite thought through the delivery process entirely... the Internet knows no distribution boundaries)
