Hahahahaha! I used to see banner-ads for those things. How annoying. I don't know if they should be illegal (unless they fall off; I don't think that they do): it's kind of a good way to identify goofballs on the road.

Seeing them hanging from the back of a trailer hitch usually does let you know that a real genius is driving the vehicle. Also fun when the child sitting next to you starts asking questions.

What about freedom of expression? They are in bad taste but since when it is illegal to have bad taste in America?
