A forum analysis demagueteinfo.com - how useful are such sites

I have been away analyzing a local forum, it’s been a long time since I have been placing articles and commenting on forums. The one I have been looking at is dumagueteinfo.com it actually quiet good but there is a problem and that is character assassination of local businessmen and false reporting on the food at local restaurants.
As with any forum especial the ones like dumagueteinfo.com that does give a beautiful picture of the Island I live on and the good city of Dumaguete Negros Oriental Philippines of which I would recommend to anyone that wants a good holiday on a tropical island. But unfortunately there are trolls on dumagueteinfo.com that are either paid or are friends of businessmen that misrepresent the other business the bars and the restaurants as bad places to eat or go. The rule of thumb if on holiday is to investigate one self when you get to the destination however such forum sites are useful for background knowledge on what you can do on holiday and places to visit and of course the problems that one can find even on the best holiday. One of the partner owners and moderators of dumagueteinfo.com runs a dive school and I am never sure if he is promoting his own business and that’s what the forum is all about. But of course the guys a nice bloke and the forum is good for background information and as a prospective holiday maker that’s all one needs to know for an adventure of a life time. The locals here are friendly and mainly honest and even those that are in poverty all ways smile and lighten up the day. One must remember that a holiday to the third world always helps the local economy. Here in the Philippines that help is always welcome as you would be.What is NowPublic?

thanks in a way it sad because this forum has a personal problem concerning character assination by a moderator. But this seemingly is a problem with most forums that cater for tourism.
Meanwhile hope your having a good day and i am back tomorrow writing some more rubbish that I hope may make sense, lol
thanks again for the flag and not telling me of for advertising but believe me one of the answer to poverty is adventure tourism.

I think such sites are useless. One mans trash is another mans riches...one mans riches is another mans trash. You get better information with a dart and a map I think.

I believe it is pretty sick. I am one of those people that are currently without health insurance. This is a direct result of the insurance that is offered to me by my employer. They currently offer Aetna, which for all intent and purposes it is a catastrophic policy. Doctor visits and medications are nearly covered, therefore I would rather save $100 per month instead of giving it to the slimey bastards at Aetna.
I hope that more people will continue to speak up and hold these health insurance conglomerates accountable, or the health of the average American will continue to go down.
