The top intersections between Twitter and Foursquare are airports, which means that the technorati are waiting for their flights to go visit mom and dad. It's sweet if you think about it. Foursquare is mainly used by people who have nothing better to do than tell the planet were they are. If check in often enough at a given location, you become "mayor". Make sure you're mayor of someplace cool, and not the local VD clinic or county jail.
Top Foursquare Check-ins at the moment:
- SFO (San Francisco International Airport)
- LAX (Los Angeles International Airport)
- ORD (O'Hare International Airport, Chicago)
- LAG (LaGuardia Airport, NYC)
These airports are in techie-friendly cities, so I'm presuming that the foursquarers are waiting for flights out, rather than arriving and waiting for ground transportation.
