Free Reign: Band of Dallas Cowboys Signs Record Deal with Riot

Free Reign, a heavy metal band featuring Dallas Cowboys Marc Colombo, Leonard Davis, and Cory Procter, with guitarist Justin Chapman, has signed a worldwide record deal with Riot! Entertainment in Australia.

Free Reign originated with Colombo, vocals, and Procter, drums, jamming in the team's locker room in 2008. Shortly after, Davis learned to play and joined with his bass, and Chapman completed the band with his guitar.

According to Riot! owner and CEO John Howarth, Free Reign has limitless marketing potential in addition to having generated enormous buzz since their emergence.

"This is an amazing opportunity for Riot! and to further establish our name internationally," said Riot! owner/CEO John Howarth. "FREE REIGN is a band with massive potential. [...] These guys are already huge sports stars, but they have shown they have the talent to diversify. I am positive that metal fans will embrace FREE REIGN and see them take it to the next level."
