French Contingent at Global Fest 09: 12 Bands, 3 Stages, Jan 11

The streets of New York City might be slower and quieter on Sunday, January 11 if we get the winter storm that the weather man predicts.

If you step into Webster Hall at 6pm that same day, it will be a different story.

12 Bands will share 3 stages in 1 Night for Global Fest 2009.

A sizable French Contingent will be there including les Marseillais Watcha Clan and their latest project Diaspora Hi-Fi which they call a Mediterranean caravan.

They remind me of Natacha Atlas maybe because of their gyrating singer.
