By now, you've no doubt heard about the Rihanna-Oprah Winfrey interview that aired on August 19, 2012. The talk show queen sat down with Rihanna for a lengthy talk about her career and personal life. No doubt, the part that everyone is talking about is the section in which Rihanna discusses her relationship with Chris Brown.

In the interview, Rihanna admits that she still misses Brown, who viciously assaulted her in 2009.

Rihanna said that she and Chris Brown still ""love each other."

"We've been working on our friendship again. Now we are very very close friends, we built a trust again," Rihanna explained. "We love each other and we probably always will and that is not anything that we are going to try to change. That is not something you can shut off if you are ever in love."

I was surprised by the way Rihanna spoke here; that she was able to express herself as well as she did. She sounded a lot more eloquent than in other interviews I've seen. Then again most of the phrasing she used was ripped straight from pop song lyrics. Although she isn't very talented in singing or dancing and I wouldn't be heartbroken if her career faded into obscurity, I see a reckless girl who is reflective and maturing into a sensible young woman. I hope she has healthy relationships in the future and that she and her family enjoy each other for many years to come.

I was pleasantly suprise how honest Rihanna was with Oprah and the world. I'm happy your in a good place after addressing your relationship with your father and Chris. I am not surprise by this at all cause Oprah only interview people with compassion, real, have got a heart and just true to life. Rihanna I have been a fan from day1 and also Chris and it show your strength to speak so openly about what you went through, your emotions came so natural and wish you all the best in your career, life and love. Here's to you Rihanna for open confession that is good for your soul. I do hope
that the feeling is mutual as far as Chris is concerned. On another note, some
men young and old cannot handle all the love that she expressed, and on another
note, in order for the relationship to be balanced, she might have to lower
the level of her emotional outpouring of love. Has anyone ever had a relationship
where you expressed your undying love; only to find out the recipient was
in a comfort zone. What I heard was an abundant flow of deep seated passion,
neediness, wanting to claim someone and clinging on for dear life.

I am very proud of Rhianna. I have always been a fan of hers and of Chris's and feel like she was super honest in this video. I have loved like that before and she's right you cannot turn it off ever so I hope Chris he will never find a love like hers again. She deserves someone to love her as much!
