Somehow Flo Rida and rap jingle bells doesn't feel like a 'merry mix' made in holiday heaven.

Holiday raps simply have no precedent for either musical quality or discernible commercial success.

Doesn't The Gap remember it's failed attempt to rap with Madonna and Missy?

A Christmas classic will get a Hip-Hop makeover, thanks to a new Gap campaign featuring rapper Flo Rida and R&B vocalists Trey Songz and Janelle Monae.

The international specialty retailer cited the appeal of Hip-Hop artists among brand marketers as motivation fro recruiting Songz and Flo Rida to write what it calls a “street-smart rendition” of “Jingle Bells” for its Merry Mix It campaign.

My question is. Why Flo Rida...? There are tons of rappers out there more suited than him in my opinion.

Flo-Rida was in Manila, Philippines for a promo tour of his album at SM Mall of Asia. The fans are screaming, singing, dancing to his music.
