Gay Congressman Frank to marry and marriage equality in WA

 Barney Frank, the longtime congressman (and the first openly gay congressman) is getting married. To his longtime partner Jim Ready. I guess he is now Ready. Sorry, bad pun.While this marriage by Frank (in I assume his home state of Massachusetts) is legal there, it would not be recognized as a legal marriage in most  states. Including Wisconsin.

 Oh by the way, it seems that this year in the state of Washington there will be same sex marriages. A poll showed only 15% of the people of that state don't believe that gays should not have any legal recognization be it marriage, domestic partnership or something of that sort. For even of one of the most secular and least religious states in the union, that is a surprising figure of lack of strong opposition to gay rights.
