Amongst a crowd of satisfied Jays fans, a few eager junkies and two or three amateur photogs the CN Tower lite up the harbor skyline with a brilliant rainbow pattern in anticipation of this weekends PRIDE festivity's.

For me the tower light up was a monumental reminder of the steady flow of tourist dollars set to pour into Toronto's downtown community.

Others, like snap n shoot amateur Miguel (29) who had set his alarm clock to ensure that he wouldn't miss the towers rainbow illumination said confidently that the towers light up was just another example of Toronto's open acceptance of the gay community.

The rantings of a Now Public member

(Funny it seems no matter what I post, the text box is always empty, maybe its censorship, maybe some anti-posting virus or maybe it's just my dumb luck but it seems...... )

Sorry, again folks for always posting sans-text but I assure you as always that I am doing my homework and have the ruff drafts to prove it, hopefully this problem is resolved sooner then later.

Well thank you very much for choosing my pic and feel free to use anything you like in my pics to publish. If I didn't want people to see or use my pics I would have set them to private.

This photo was taken no where close to the date of pride in Toronto but on a cold winters night.
