Amongst a crowd of satisfied Jays fans, a few eager junkies and two or three amateur photogs the CN Tower lite up the harbor skyline with a brilliant rainbow pattern in anticipation of this weekends PRIDE festivity's.
For me the tower light up was a monumental reminder of the steady flow of tourist dollars set to pour into Toronto's downtown community.
Others, like snap n shoot amateur Miguel (29) who had set his alarm clock to ensure that he wouldn't miss the towers rainbow illumination said confidently that the towers light up was just another example of Toronto's open acceptance of the gay community.
