Germany's most popular magazine for women, Brigitte, will no longer feature professional models on its pages. Instead, it will use images of "real life" women.
Brigitte's editor-in-chief Andreas Lebert told the Guardian that the magazine will stop using skinny models from the year 2010. He said that Brigitte has had to use Photoshop to make the models bigger for years, and they and their readers have become so fed up with the practice that only regular size women will be featured in the future.
"Today's models weigh around 23% less than normal women," Lebert said. "The whole model industry is anorexic."

Let's hope Germany's bold move will encourage other magazines to follow.
There was a model in the U.S. who posed nude in a mazine, and she had a little tummy, and the public response was extremely positive to have more normal looking women.
