San Diego Comic-Con 2012: Twilight Fan Gisela G. Killed While Queueing for Breaking Dawn Part 2 Premiere

San Diego Comic-Con doesn't start until the evening of July 11, but Twilight fans are already queuing up to get a sneak peek at Breaking Dawn Part 2, the final film in the Twilight saga.

SDCC organizers told Twi-hards to stay away until Preview night, but to no effect.

A female fan was hit by a car near Hall H, and was taken to a nearby hospital. The accident took place at around 9:20am on July 10. The driver of the car, a man in his sixties, stayed at the scene of the accident. Admins of a Robert Pattinson fan site identified the victim as Gisela G., who was active on Twitter.

According to other Twilight fans at Hall H, event organizers were moving the queue, and Gisela did not want to lose her spot in line. She apparently saw the car coming and tried to stop, but tripped and fell into its path.

If you pray pls do so now for Twi fan G! She was just hit by a car in front of the convention center! She was unconscious when taken hosp

The fan, named only as G and described by the Union-Tribune as a 53-year-old woman, died from her injuries.
