With Glowing Hearts film documents True North Media campaign
Animal Mother Films is producing a series of short films about the social and cultural landscape of Vancouver in light of the 2010 Winter Olympics called "With Glowing Hearts."
In a new segment released on Jan 30th, With Glowing Hearts documents the True North Media House campaign to encourage social reporting of the arts and cultural events and educate about best practices for creating and publishing content.
Director Andrew Lavinge sets up the webisode in the announcement:
In this video you will meet ‘Techartist’ Kris Krug and ‘Social Media Guru’ Dave Olson. I first met Kris and Dave on Feb. 3rd 2009. There was a shout out on Twitter about a meetup at a Gastown tech company for those who were interested in exploring social media’s inclusion in the 2010 Winter Olympics. There was quite a buzz in the air that night as folks were excited about the idea of creating a non accredited media center. That buzz has continued through the year and is reaching its peak as Citizen Journalist from around the world gather in Vancouver.
Along with True North Media House campaign, With Glowing Hearts crew followed W2 Woodwards arts project and April Smith and AHA Media.
