Gmail Lets You Undo Sent Messages, Drunk Emailers Rejoice!
Although not the sole domain of inebriated emailers who fire off wish-I'd-never-said-that missives to massive lists of contacts at all hours of the night and morning, Gmail's latest feature will undoubtedly be highly prized by anyone who's ever hoped to retract a mistakenly sent item.
Well, be infuriated no longer! If you act quickly enough, you can be like Cher and turn back time and "take back those words that have hurt you" in one easy step.
Google is giving you exactly 5 seconds to reverse your digital transgression and pull back a message from beyond the Outbox grave.
Yes, Gmail will now let you undo sent messages. Just don't waste your time debating whether or not to take it back.

lol, thats a novel idea.. 5 second window is quiet short though.. I guess the feature of recall like in outlook will be good where recall succeeds if it hasnt been opened by the receipent.

Ha ha 5 seconds to a drunk is a lifetime. Once they have posted some, then get in a bad mood and click everybody off their friends list, A know someone who done that. After a night out she fell out with her boyfriend went home and bomblasted us all.
