According to reports, a trust, named after 19th century Carnatic musician Ravi Varman Thampi aka  Irayimman Thampi, alleged Pi’s lullaby is not an original composition, but a direct translation of  Thampi’s classic Malayalam lullaby Omanathinkal kidavo. This was, of course, denied by Jayashri.
