So Google Wave invites go out today! I didn't get a Google Wave invite yet, so it's looking like a repeat of an 8th-grade formal dance for your humble(d) Truemorist. I hope, though, that the developer invite's ugly sister asks me to dance, though. As David Lowry said, forget about your mister right, 'cause he's out of town tonight/ come an' spend a little time with Mister Wrong.
If you're involved in the initial Google Wave testing, let me know how it goes. I'm particularly interested in what's going wrong with it, due to some sour grapes. It's nothing personal.

Yet, you will still experience the occasional downtime, a crash every now and then, part of the system being a bit sluggish and some of the user interface being, well, quirky.
Will this be the email-killer? Dunno; don't think so. Let's be honest here: most web users are confused by Twitter, so Google Wave is (sorry) a bit over their heads. For my part, I don't want to see what people are writing as they write it, and you definitely don't want to see my first drafts. They're sometimes a bit mean.
