GOP Bachmann told by 8 year old his gay mom doesn't need fixing

Michelle Bachmann, Republican presidential pretender has stated some ugly things about gays. For example:

“This is a very serious matter, because it is our children who are the prize for this community, they are specifically targeting our children.”

“And what a bizarre time we’re in, Jan, when a judge will say to little children that you can’t say the pledge of allegiance, but you must learn that homosexuality is normal and you should try it.”

" ..our children will be forced to learn that homosexuality is normal and natural and that perhaps they should try it, and that’ll be very soon in our public schools all across the state, beginning in kindergarten."

I think you get the point, she really doesn't like homosexuality, which is ironic if you see a clip of her husband. But that's beside the point. Well, Bachmann thinks gays are recruiting little kids. Well during a recent event an 8 year old boy stated to Bachmann, “Ms. Bachmann, my mommy’s gay but she doesn’t need any fixing." No, she doesn't Elijah, but Ms. Bachmann has to appeal to voters who think your mommy is a threat to America.

Now, why does Bachmann view the kid's mother as a threat? If she doesn't, why does Bachmann use the threat of gay parents as threats? Does Bachmann favor bans on gay adoption? Probably. 50 years ago, there were politicans who didn't believe in interracial couples. Why were the kids of those couples considered a threat? Family values, shouldn't be code word for opposing gay rights, but it is. Children of gay couples love their parents, as much as anyone else.
