Gordon Ramsay: Cooking Live Premiere On FOX Network

The premiere of the US edition of Gordon Ramsay's live cookalong show, "Gordon Ramsay: Cooking Live," aired last night on the FOX network at 9:00pm ET/PT. The live cooking show premiere featured Ramsay cooking a full-course meal with the intent of audience members following along at home.

The premiere of Ramsay's new show featured him cooking a three course meal live with step-by-step instructions. Ramsay was also accompanied by various celebrity guests on the show such as LeAnn Rimes and Cedric the Entertainer.

Ramsay has been doing a similar cookalong show on BBC Britain, but this was the first try in the United States. In real time, he showed how to cook an appetizer, main dish and dessert. He was joined in the studio by three celebrity amateurs: comic actor Cedric the Entertainer, country singer LeAnn Rimes and actress Alyson Hannigan.

Whoopi Goldberg was also featured on the "Gordon Ramsay: Cooking Live" premiere, and was linked in from her home where she was cooking with her daughter as the show aired.

Ramsay decided to bring his show over to the US after the widespread success he received in Europe. For the premiere, Ramsay's full-course meal consisted of an appetizer of Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp, Chilli Peppers, and Tomatoes, a main course of Steak Diane with Sautéed Potatoes and Peas, and a dessert of Tiramisu.
