Entertainment Weekly touts an exclusive story: Arnold Schwarzenegger and Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee are teaming up to create a cartoon called The Governator

Is The Governator Real? Well, the cartoon image of Arnie as The Governator graces the cover of the upcoming Entertainment Weekly magazine... the April 1 edition. We're going to go ahead and call The Governator an April Fool's Day prank. [Update: Even though there's a Governator trailer, this still looks way too derivative and half-assed to be real, and that's really saying something.]

It's true that Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning to action, though, and will be unveiling details of a new television project at MIPTV in Cannes next month.

Here are some of EWs details from The Governator, the purported cartoon and comic book series:

Along with the Arnold Cave, the Governator will have a fleet of super vehicles at his disposal, a closet full of “Super Suits” that allow him to fly and perform other super stunts, and a team of colorful sidekicks, such as Zeke Muckerberg, the precocious 13-year-old computer whiz who acts as the Governator’s cybersecurity expert. Naturally, there will also be recurring supervillains — including an evil organization called Gangsters Imposters Racketeers Liars & Irredeemable Ex-cons (or G.I.R.L.I.E. Men, for short).

It's got to be fake. For the love of all that's holy, it's got to be fake.

Zeke Muckerberg. Heh.
