"Written on the city" is a website that catalogs graffiti from major cities around the world. Anyone can submit photos of any urban art in their part of the world, but the focus tends to be on poetry, politics, and random messages of cleverness. Really interesting stuff...it's like gaining access to a city's id.

Check out the urban art in your city here.

(I found this link on Beyond Robson)

someone is trying to tell you something.

they don't know you, and it doesn't matter. they say it anyway, writing on the city itself, because the message is important.

and so we're listening.

what's your city saying?

Nice one, love the project, graffiti is the most democratic form of art we have.
