The Departed wins Best Picture (2006)

Movie producer Graham King is alleged to have embarked a serious love affair with Hollywood actress Meg Ryan after a longtime friendship, according to reports.

A source says, "It's very serious. They were recently in New York City for a lovers' getaway. "They love traveling together. And they have been friends for years."

The rumor has been circulating from earlier this year after King and Ryan were spotted together. A couple years ago, King, the 47-year-old movie producer, has shared producer credits with Ryan on the 2006 movie Desert Saints. King has been a renowned producer for both box-office motion pictures and independent features, and some of his most popular works include Leonardo DiCaprio's films The Departed, The Aviator, and Blood Diamond. He has also scored four Academy Awards in his career, including Best Picture.

The boiling rumor between King and Ryan has enraged Valerie King, Graham King's wife. The couple has been married for 25 years and has two daughters. Although she admits that the coupe separated for a short while, but insisted, "Graham's not dating Meg Ryan. He's with me."

However, reports also says that Graham has been renting a mansion down the road from his $10 million home as his love nest with Ryan. This is denied by Valerie King:

"He lives at our house. We're together. We're a happy family. We're not getting a divorce."

Ryan, previously married to Dennis Quaid and has been romantically associated with Russell Crowe and Matthew Perry, has been struggling to revive her acting career.

An insider says: “Graham is not being deceitful with Meg. She knows his wacky situation is far from perfect. But being involved with King may be her Hollywood salvation.”
