As far as importance goes, this story lists right next to the recent announcement that "Mott the Hoople"is reuniting.

Just the idea that the Grateful Dead would ever be allowed to attend, not to mention play for a President is a little surreal.  Yet, right on the cover of Rolling Stone we can see that change has really come to Washington D C.

I for one, would not expect a doobie to be fired up; however, with this news I think anything is possible

Aren't they called "The Other Ones" now?

They were until 2003 when they solved their differences and reclaimed the moniker The Grateful Dead once again. Thanks for asking!

I am sure they will be well received.

It's not "Greatful Dead". Was this written by a 12-year-old?

To the mysterious writer that penned this tiny monstrosity:

Are you possibly that incompetant, or is this suppossed to be a slam of the Dead? Give us a break. Hate to break it to ya, but your time for hating freedom-loving Americans, including long-time fans of the Dead is finally over, so stop it.

What Larry is saying is Grateful Dead is not spelled Greatful Dead. And Mickey, Bobby, Phil and Bill go by the Dead.
