NP Rank:
greetings from the Chorro Creek Ranch
Chorro Creek Ranch is a unique and effective community housing facility which is privately owned and Non Profit. Our goal has always been to receive the broken lives of so many wonderful and creative human beings who for one reason or another have found themselves alone without resources. Alcoholism, drug addiction, health disasters and mental illness are the battles we face each and every day at the "ranch". New faces come and go as lives are restored and our brothers and Sisters return to society back on there feet and engaged in the game of life.
Chorro Creek Ranch is but one "finger" of the hand that makes up a larger collective of volunteers and staff that work each day to house and feed our community. 38 years have passed since inception as the ranch has matured and developed an outreach in our community to feed the homeless, care for the sick and disabled and meet the needs of broken lives. Currently we provide 100 food boxes a month for families in crisis, with generous donations from local grocery stores and other sources. We provide services to help tenants with the overwhelming paperwork required to obtain government assistance. Our ministry of giving has touched our community, lives are being restored and hope is again "present" in the lives of all who cross our path.
We want to humanize the plite of these very special citizens that society has ignored and discarded. They may be out of sight, but they never go away. The testimonials will be riveting and real as you journey into the lives of some of the most decent men and women this world has produced. So open your heart and your mind and possibly your wallet as we present our "slice of life" @ the ranch.
Thank you in advance for allowing us to share our world.

Chorro Creek Ranch, I think your story has potential but needs some improvement. I've got a few suggestions, and if you give them a try, I'd be happy to remove this flag.
I wasnt sure what was newsworthy in this story. News should always be about posting current stuff - new things you've discovered.
