The International Film Festival in Guadalajara celebrates its 25th year and will showcase more than 250 films, documentaries and short films produced in Mexico and Ibero America.
A special selection of films from the guest country France will be presented, openning with the film Un Prophète by Jacques Audiard.
Matt Dillon will be awarded The Guadalajara International Prize for his solid career which has surpassed the frontiers of his nation. He will also participate on the master classes on Talent Campus Guadalajara.
FICG honors with the Guadalajara International Prize the career of American actor and director Matt Dillon. He will receive a tribute on the inauguration gala of the 25th edition of the festival on Friday, March 12th.
46 years old Dillon, (born in New Rochelle, New York) has paraded the front row of American cinema since he became a teenage idol for films like Little Darlings y My Bodyguard on the 1980´s.

I was in the inauguration gala yesterday night and it was so exciting the french movie was very interesting and also a shortmovie they presentes before. It was a magical night and Matt Dillon was so excited for the Prize they gave him tht he also pronounced a few words in spanish thanking the festival and the people involved in the event!!
