Road Block Radio, Race Entertainment, MG Promotions and Team A Promotions have decided to bring the heart of the 'gully' to the center of New Jersey's swanky middle class by presenting Jamaica's infamously famous 'Gully Gaad' at the posh Ritz Theatre in Elizabeth, NJ.

Hosted by popular radio personalities Dahved Levy of New York's WBLS, and Road Block Radio's Banky Hype and Greng Greng, the 'Gangsta fi Life' Mavado will launch his assault on Elizabeth On Sunday, October 26th, with his band of lyrical terrorists out of the Alliance camp. Slated to be one of Elizabeth's highly anticipated, if not unusual, events, organizer Casey 'G City' Rankine is confident that such an unprecedented move is exactly what the genre needs.

Who says the gully can't do the Ritz," G City jokingly questions, before seriously stating that "Dancehall Reggae is one of the most popular musical genres in the world. Our musical culture has influenced language, dance, and fashion across the globe. It is high time that we step it up a few notches, and present our artists in the style and manner befitting to world-class artists."
