Halle Berry Granted Restraining Order Against Stalker

Halle Berry was granted a restraining order on Tuesday against stalker who was arrested Monday after he jumped over the back wall of her Hollywood Hills home. Richard Franco must stay at least 100 feet away from the Hollywood starlet and her home, daughter, car and workplace.

Franco is a 5'9" 27-year-old male with a previous criminal history of drugs, theft and violence. His Monday arrest is the third arrest for trespassing the actress' home within several days.

Berry wrote in a sworn testimony:

This person has jeopardized not only my personal safety, but also the safety and well-being of my family. This person has invaded and trampled upon the most fundamental sense of security I have, and I am extremely frightened of him and what he might do to me or those I love.

On Sunday, Franco was reported to follow Berry to her kitchen door. Luckily, she was able to get inside the door and lock it before Franco could enter. He was also spotted at the actress' home on Saturday by Berry and her manager.

Late Monday night, security patrol hired by Berry saw Franco scale a security gate. The Academy-Award winning actress wrote that she was alone in the home with her 3-year-old daughter at the time.

Berry wrote:

I looked out the glass door leading to my enclosed and gated back yard and was shocked to see a complete stranger, carrying something in his hands and approaching us. As I opened my glass kitchen door and closed it behind me, all of a sudden I sensed someone behind me and turned to see the same intruder standing less than a foot behind me starring at me through my glass kitchen door.

Franco currently remains in custody on a $150,000 bond.
