Halo Reach Confirmed at E3 2009

Halo Reach, an expansion to the intensely popular sci-fi first-person shooter series, was confirmed for development at E3 2009. The game is slated for release in 2010.

Halo Reach, which has long been rumoured, was given a brief but surprise intro at the games conference, looks to be an epic extension of the Halo universe, with Spartans battling for survival all over again.

Bungie confirmed development of Halo Reach is progressing well, and while the Microsoft-owned studio says the full game won’t be released until 2010, gamers buying the next Halo title: Halo ODST will get an invitation to play the Halo Reach multiplayer beta on Xbox Live.
