Happy Birthday Nelson Mandela

In light of Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday I've posted this picture. It's the only photograph of him I have. Then again, many people have a pic of this statue which is situated on Nelson Mandela Square, but very seldom will you get the chance to come closer to this special man.

I've always wished to take a good photograph of Madiba, firstly to meet him, but also since his character is so well represented by his strong facial expressions and features.

I hope I'll still get get the chance to do so one day.
