Hayley Wood, DJ AM's Ex Speaks Out After His Death

Hayley Wood, DJ AM's, or Adam Goldstein's, ex-girlfriend has spoken out for the first time since he was found dead in his NYC apartment late last week.

Many news outlets were reporting that DJ AM was so distraught over the break-up with Wood that he was driven back to drugs, but Hayley is insisting that is not true.

But in an exclusive statement to Usmagazine.com, Wood says: "Any indication that this horribly tragic accident happened because of a rumored breakup is not only untrue but disgusting. We were very much together at the time of his passing, and I love him very much."

The two split about two weeks before DJ AM was found dead, and they had dated for nearly a year.
