Eliminated:Kherrington and Gev
First off, I would like to say (or shout) that I HATE THE NEW COUPLE PAIRINGS! It’s just horrible. Both Mark and Kherington performed poorly possibly because of this, and now it’s too late for damage control since Kherington is eliminated. On a more positive note, I like the Katee and Will match. They are both extremely wonderful, trained dancers who are incredibly talented and have an incomparable passion for dancing.
Kherington was eliminated. I will miss Kherington. Although her performance was quite horrible this week, it does not mean that comfort is a better dancer. Comfort just got lucky that she performed one good routine just because it is hiphop, her strength. I seriously think that Kherington should be in her place. For those of you who are wondering why Comfort is still in the competition, it is because Jessica cannot compete because of injuries. It was decided that the last girl eliminated would take her place. If America eliminated Kherington, then they should have eliminated Mark too. Although I absolutely adore Mark and his quirkiness, he really did perform horribly. I will also miss Gev and his incredible incredible solos. Originally a breaker, Gev turn into a little bit more of a contemporary dancer coming out of the competition I must say. Funny, that’s the truth though.
The first performance of the night was a Dave Scott HipHop piece danced by Joshua and Courtney. The choreography was ridiculous, the characters were well played. It was a great way to start the show. Joshua nailed it and Jessica did a respectable job. The spanky spanky was funny. It was a great performance. Their other routine was the Rumba. It was downright sexy. The leg drag they did in the middle was really nice. This time, Courtney did a better job than Joshua. Nice twist.
Then, Kherington and Mark two-stepped their way into disaster. It was really awkward and there was absolutely no chemistry. Although it was a tough number, it was no excuse. They were uncomfortable, their turns were not smooth like it was supposed to be, and their movements were rigid. It was horrible. They even lacked chemistry in their second routine (a jazz piece by Tyce Diorio). The routine was alright; however, we should take into account that it’s hard to mess up a Tyce Diorio routine. Kherington and Mark was a disappointment.
Gev and Chelsie first performed a contemporary routine by Sonya and their second routine is a high energy jive performance. Both routines were entertaining and quite good. Although, Nigel did comment that in the beginning it seemed like Gev wasn’t totally into Chelsie, he jumped right back into full commitment at the end. Like Nigel, I agree that the reason might because Gev misses Courtney.
Comfort and Twitch’s first performance was a smooth waltz. As the judges had said, the rise and fall was not there, and there was no chemistry. Twitch out-performed Comfort in that routine. This couple was lucky that their second routine was hiphop. They both nailed the Dave Scott piece, and Lil C even aid Twitch reminded him of Dave Scott, which is a huge compliment.
The best thing that happened was the pairing of Katee and Joshua. Their first routine was Broadway, and it was absolutely amazing. They were confined in so little a boat during some parts of the routine, yet they danced so big! the extensions were perfect, their leaps around the boat was pure grace. It was perfection. I bet Tyce was really happy to choreograph for these two. Their 2nd routine was par de deux duet. Although Katee messed up, it didn’t affect the rest of their performance. This piece was the most difficult piece ever on the show. It left my heart pounding because all the moves were so hard but yet executed with such grace. It was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the death fall and the ending of the performance.
Choreographer of the week: Many of the choreographers deserved props this week because it was just so amazing, but I would say that I should probably give a shout out to Nigel. It was the first time I saw him choreograph anything for the show. It was not bad, yet it was not amazing or fantastic. It was great.
My little thoughts: I’m getting quite annoyed with Will taking his shirt off, but you’ve got to admit that this guy has one of the nicest bodies around.

I think their names are just hilarious, and why are you annoyed with a guy taking his shirt off? If you've got it, flaunt it, I say.
