Hollywood's Warner Bros is suing an Indian production company whose new film is called "Hari Puttar".
The studio had started proceedings against the makers of "Hari Puttar" over similarities to the international film and literary phenomenon, said Warner Bros. spokeswoman Deborah Lincoln.
"We confirm that we have recently commenced proceedings against parties involved in the production and distribution of a movie entitled 'Hari Puttar'," Lincoln told

Criticom, I like this story. It's good stuff. this is quite funny. hollywood obviously does not know that 'hari' is a hindu name and that 'puttar' means 'son' in the punjabi langauge (spoken in india as well as in pakistan)

Finally, hollywood takes action against bollywood. Me being indian, I've seen tons of movies that bollywood has copied from hollywood. It's time bollywood come up with their own ideas instead of copying what other movie-writers have probably spent weeks on. Now, with this story.... it's truly dispicable. Hari Puttar...... It better not be a Harry Potter remake.
