Photographer Julian Wolkenstein proved he can be successful while "horsing around." Evidence can be found in his recently-publicize photographs of horses with hair extensions.

Shown at left in this composite photo, a photo of a horse with chestnut-colored hair extensions accompanied an article about Wolkenstein's work that appeared in the UK's Telegraph newspaper yesterday. It reminds me of a World War II-era pin-up girl.

Two other Wolkenstein photos, shown center and right in the composite photo, remind me of Dolly Parton and Whoopi Goldberg, respectively, and can be found in the gallery section of Wolkenstein's web site.

The site also includes a variety of quirky, unusual and interesting photos, including several interesting attempts to show humans appearing as if they're living in small enclosures (i.e., a bird cage, an aquarium, a fish bowl, etc.). Interesting shots all; I encourage you to check them out.
