How Did David Carradine Die: Suicide or Bizzare Sex Accident?

David Carradine, Kung Fu star and pop culture icon, was found dead in his hotel room June 4, 2009 hanged with a rope around his neck and no sign of a suicide note. Immediate speculation was that David Carradine was a victim of suicide, but those who knew him do not think that is possible and it is now believed that his death was accidental. Autopsy results will be released in the next few days.
So how did David Carradine die? How did the Kill Bill bad guy end up hanging dead and naked in his Bangkok hotel room mere days after arriving in Thailand to begin filming a new movie, Stretch?
The rep said David's death was "accidental." And there's this ... the BBC is now reporting that David's body was found hanging with a rope around his neck and "other parts of his body."
Carradine's body was found nude, hanging in a closet.
David's rep added, "We can confirm 100% that he never would have committed suicide. It was an accidental death. Everybody is in shock."
The BBC has reported that when David Carradine's was found he was naked hanging in a closet, with rope around his neck and "other parts of his body." Representatives for Carradine have said that they do not think it was a suicide but that his death was simply "an accident."
No further information has been released about what sort of "accident" would leave a man naked, hanging in a closet, with rope around his neck and genitals and hands tied behind his back, but there is speculation that his death was a bizarre sex accident.
It is believed that David Carradine was engaging in auto-erotic asphyxia, also known in the BDSM community as "edgeplay" or "breathplay." The fact that his hands were bound behind his back is suspicious but there is no evidence that anybody else had been in the room. Police are treating Carradine's death as suspicious.
Auto-erotic asphyxia is also the suspected cause of death for INXS singer Michael Hutchence, who was found dead in a Sydney hotel room in 1997.

Michael Hutchence from the band INXS died from erotic asphyxia and was ALSO found nude. I'm looking forward to hearing what the autopsy results are.
However, Carradine had been quoted in a magazine in 2004 in which he stated that he contemplated suicide but never followed through. He mentioned that he kept a gun in his nightstand and would take it out, hold it, and contemplate "blowing his brains out".

The thing is Michelle is probably young still. She probably doesn't even believe her parents could ever have had sex. :) As she gets older, unless she is non-sexual (as some women are) she will realize that age doesn't necessarily reduce a desire for sex. Mental well being and health will allow one to desire sex and function sexually as they get older.

I am not as old, but it is natural to wonder about the decline of sexuality as we age. I don't think that the comment was meant to be other than an expression of curiosity. :)
I did want to say that Viagra, though, does not help foster libido, but helps blood flow. The pill that makes us horny has been invented, but has not yet been marketed.
Usually, the easiest way to raise libido is to restore testosterone levels. There are also "ester-inhibitors" that keep testosterone from being broken down into estrogen. This does a lot to raise libido and can be purchased over the counter in the US.
When men lose too much of their testosterone, it makes us grumpy and can help give us that bug-eyed look you sometimes see in men of their late 80s and 90s. It comes from a limbic system with no male hormone.

A buzz on the internet speculates that Carradine's death may be linked to Bruce Lee fanatics, who view Bruce Lee as the true master of Kung Fu, who's untimely death led to Carradine usurping the role of Hollywood Kung Fu master. Speculation is that either 1] the same evil kung fu forces that mysteriously led to Bruce Lee's demise were involved in Carradine's... or, 2] a vendetta by embittered Bruce Lee extremists. Like the mysterious demise of Bruce Lee, the story may never be fully revealed. Sounds like more interveiws of local hostesses may be needed to get to the bottom of things.

Newspapers these days report every personal detail of movie stars and other famous people. It makes it very easy for others to judge them. Media has no respect for him or his family. Shame! I loved him as an actor when I was a teen and I still do. There is a biological reason behind choking-it can intesify orgasm for most people.
