Hugh Jackman paid out on a rude theatregoer whos cell phone went off during a performance of A Steady Rain on Broadway. Yes, you read that right: someone left their mobile phone switched on during a Broadway play.  Worse yet, Hugh Jackman got even more annoyed when the cell phone's owner didn't answer it, and just let it ring. (TMZ Hugh Jackman cell phone video)

Later, during the same performance, another cell phone rang, and Daniel Craig, who's also appearing in A Steady Rain, also implored the owner to just answer the damned thing.

Look, I don't care how important you think you are: if you're a doctor and you're on call, then don't go to the theatre that night. If you're not a doctor on call, then you don't need that thing switched on, period. On those somewhat rare occasions when I appear onstage, ringing mobile phones make me see red, and my reaction makes Hugh Jackman's cell phone incident look very tame. If we look past the 4th wall long enough, we can indeed see the audience, and everyone turns and looks at the cell-phone offender. You genuinely do not want this to be you. Seriously, just switch it off. It's not difficult.

The star of the X-Men sci-fi films won a cheer from the audience as he interrupted his performance to tell the phone’s owner: “You want to get that? You want to get it? Grab it. I don’t care.”

If you want if have Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig chasing you around after the show, then good luck with that.
