Human beings appear to be a parasitical infestation on the planet Earth. At the same time, they are magical adorable creatures. So on one hand: parasites.. On the other: magical creatures.. How do we find a happy medium between such extremes? ;)~ I suggest in comedy: The Big Bang Theory in particular. I've been studying Jim Parsons performance on the show and he is no less than: insanely talented, insanely funny, and one of the most talented actors I've seen on TV in a number of years. For some reason, Ross of Friends comes to mind.. But Jim outshines him by orders of magnitude. I believe it is the difficulty and complexity of the role which allows this.

I keep looking for writers on the show – I can't seem to isolate them to names.. As I watch these (no less than) magical episodes with mom, we are both entertained and awed by the cast performances. Extreme silliness is always entertaining but the unique flavor of: sci-fi references, inane physics, and sufficiently rich differences and interrelationships between the characters produces something I must label with the word (I typically refuse to use) perfection.

In a very real sense, if you had to choose characters on the show representing me, I'd be a combination of Sheldon, Leonard, and perhaps Howard. I've attempted to write advance lines for them and it becomes a matter of word choice. So it's pretty insane that I can predict lines and scene advancement. It's not so much 'I am them' but more the writers and directors of the show. If there was any gig I should be working on now (other than my screenwriting), it would be this.

So if any readers know of ANYbody who is a 'friend of a friend of a friend..' of ANYbody connected with the show or perhaps an appropriate screenwriter's agent, please contact me directly. I've attempted to use IMDB to contact agents but for a 'nobody' like me who doesn't know 'anybody', it's fruitless.

Btw, this article was actually inspired by Jim and his performance as Sheldon.. Too bad nobody noticed that. :P
