Thanks, tikun. A little different view than what the media spoon feeds us.

Ok, now give the land back !
at 14:31 on January 25th, 2010
Sure, just as soon as the Palestinians recognize Israel's right to existence.
Oh, and endorse UN Resolution 181.
That work for you, Sput?
at 14:32 on January 25th, 2010
No, give the land back
at 15:16 on January 25th, 2010
Keep that attitude, Israel will keep theirs, the muslims keep on losing.

"The Jews and Christians of that land reverted to Islam"
Reverted to islam, eh?
That's a real nice take on history, Sput. Never heard of the Roman Empire? No?
Never heard of the Roman Persecution that took place in AD 70, either? Never heard of the nearly 2 million Jews that were slaughtered in and around Jerusalem, either?
at 01:26 on January 26th, 2010
You are about 600 years too early, but thanks for the confused history lesson Hugh
at 03:58 on January 26th, 2010
Methinks the date is correct.
As to confusion, i might ask for the source of YOUR information. Care to share?
One assumes from your answer that you haven't heard of the Romans? That IS a shame.

According to records and archeological finds, Israel as a large kingdom did exist only for 120 years in human history, prior to the Roman occupation. Palestine - or philistine's natives where killed and displaced for the most part by the invader coming from Egypt. Before the Roman even came Palestine existed and the land was charred by many tribes and religions or believes. Since the Roman or after the fall,Jews, Samaritan, Gentiles, Christian and Muslim have charred this land for over 14 centuries. No one can lay claim to it on there own, since it was always a land of many cultures. races, tribes and religions.

So you think Jews and Christians started following Mohammed in 70 AD Hugh ?
at 06:09 on January 26th, 2010
Muslim Prophet Muhammad's first recitations of the Qur'an was in the 7th century, not 70 AD.I am aware that some Muslim believe that Islam was the first religion because it does start with Adam and Eve and incorporates Abraham, Moses and Jesus... However that would be a defamatory perspective since Judaism and Christianity can make the same claim and Judaism could claim that it is the only true faith, since it has not been compromised by false prophets such as Jesus and Muhammad, Christian claim that since Jesus was of the direct blood line of the house of David he is a true prophet or as they say messenger. Wish is and wish is not is simply believe and interpretation rather then factual and logical. Not worth starting a war over.It may be wiser to just abandon all 3 religions for the sake of peace.

I am so sorry, Sput - once again you failed to answer the question.
How about, since you don't seem to want to answer questions about your source of "information", we just all follow UN Resolution 181.
That work for you and your fellow muslims?
at 17:22 on January 25th, 2010
Good video with good information.
at 19:13 on January 25th, 2010
Thanks for the info Tikun!

In all honesty, you're both as bad as each other. All of this suffering over a load of make believe. YOU ARE GROWN UPS, behave like you are.Hiding behind a book is petty religious heresy that stunts our growth as ONE race, think what we could become if you stopped takings lifes lessons from a story book. If you have to be told what is right and what is wrong, then you are a fundimentaly flawed human being.

Tell me where you live and I will come and steal your house, after all you think that kind of thing is ok !
at 04:12 on January 26th, 2010
Do you plan on stealing the land and houses that the Jews purchased from the muslims prior when to the United Nations partitioned Palestine? Is that part of your plan?
It certainly seems to be, based on your rhetoric, and the rhetoric of most of the rest of the peace loving muslims.
If it was sold to the Jews, do you still believe it belongs to you?
at 05:45 on January 26th, 2010
If I had meant sold I would have said so
at 06:09 on January 26th, 2010
So you do intend to steal the land, eh?
at 08:54 on January 26th, 2010
Just say no Hugh !
at 09:22 on January 26th, 2010
No to muslims stealing land?
I'm good with that, Sput.
at 09:56 on January 26th, 2010
And if that happened would it have the backing of the land of the Brave and Free ? Or should it be called USA PLC ?
at 16:04 on January 26th, 2010
Sput, I'm very certain that should the Palestinians and the Arab states agree to recognize Israel as a sovereign nation, and abide by UN Resolution 181, that US would be more than willing to back an agreement to that effect.
Do i think the muslims in the Middle East will ever agree to that? Not in my lifetime. They have hatred ingrained so deeply that they don't yet know how not to hate. They make a mockery of being a religion of peace by their actions.
at 12:01 on January 26th, 2010
Thanks everyone. Greatly appreciated.
Sput you are relentless. LOL
at 03:16 on January 27th, 2010
Tell the orthodox Jews that refuse to recognise Israels right to exist the same thing! How come their houses have not been stolen ?
at 10:29 on January 27th, 2010
Sput,
It is not the orthodox Jews that do not recognize Israel but the very FEW EXTREMISTS in the Jewish community of Orthodoxy that do not. They are a very small minority. A group that is pretty much a non-issue within the worldwide Jewish community and certainly within Israel. Hope that clarifies this for you.
at 05:57 on January 28th, 2010
Not true. They almost prevented the creation of the state of Israel. Most Jewish people living in then Palestine were against the creation of Israel.
