Katy Perry hosted the MTV Europe Awards but lost it a little at the after show party when some girls got too close to her boyfriend Travis McCoy of band Gym Class Heroes.

The pose that saw Perry singing about how she kissed a girl and enjoyed it and hoped that her boyfriend 'won't mind' gave her a number one hit but now she's exhibiting good old jealousy and that's the same green eyed monster whatever the sexuality.

The messing with gender and getting number a number 1 hit record is being tried out by a few other stars most notable recently married Beyonce who's new song has her asking 'If I were a boy' - which essentially says that if she were then she'd be the best boyfriend ever because she knows what trouble men put women through.

Perry later went on to another club with other celebs including Beyonce's sister Solange.

Her songs brag about kissing girls... but if they go anywhere near her fella Katy Perry wants to smack them in the kisser.

The US singer, who hosted the MTV awards in the Liverpool Echo Arena on Wednesday, lost it when a gang of women tried flirting with her boyfriend.

Travis McCoy - who fronts Gym Class Heroes and had presented the Rock Out Award to 30 Seconds To Mars - seemed bemused as the girls touched his piercings and inspected his tattoos.

But 24-year-old Katy, who was sipping Bacardi Mojitos, was having none of it. She hissed at them: "Why don't you whores just p*** off?!"

After glaring at the girls then pulling faces as they turned their backs, Katy - whose weird outfits on the night included a bizarre half-man-half-woman cossie - plonked herself on Travis's lap. Well it's one way to mark your territory!

Did you see that video on TMZ where she's dry humping a guy during one of her shows? So...I guess her boyfriend can't have some fun but she can do whatever she wants.
