I Had Lunch With Fidel Castro Today

Before you jump to conclusions, this may be more like a tabloid story where you're drawn into the article at the check-out stand, only to find out that the alien baby was a fake story.  It's just that when I was in MacDonald's this afternoon, the man sitting across from me was Fidel Castro's identical twin.  

Since I live in Southern California, we're never sure who we will run into.  Maybe Castro has been sneaking into the United States for years on a private plane.  Maybe the guy in Havana isn't Castro at all.  Whoever this Castro impersonator was, everybody who spoke Spanish and worked in the MacDonald's knew who he was.

He stood next to me in line, mumbling under his long grey beard.  I'm sure that he knew he looked like Castro and was getting a real kick out of people like me who pretend not to notice.  He had on the worst pair of designer sunglasses so you couldn't even see his eyes.  His neck was completely covered in a scarf.  He was whistling a tune under his breath.  Does anybody know if Castro can whistle?

This reminds me of the time I went out for coffee with Bill Clinton.  Swear, I met a guy in St. Louis Missouri, spitting image of Bill Clinton, down to the crooked teeth.  He asked me out for coffee and while we were sitting there, I thought to myself, "Is this really Bill Clinton?"  He knew he looked like Bill Clinton, so he told me not to be surprised if people mistake him for Bill Clinton.  He begged me for a date.  Called me several times and became very upset when he was turned down.

He claimed he worked in a grocery store.  Wait a minute.  Didn't Clinton's family own a grocery store? 

I also saw Bin Laden in another MacDonald's in Phoenix, right after 9/11.  He was the spitting image of Bin Laden.   He was with a group of house painters, all dressed in white overalls, and he was laughing when he came in.  Didn't Bin Laden have this thing for MacDonald's french fries?  

Is anybody else seeing people walking around that they have no explanation for?  Close encounters of the really strange?
