I’ll Be Praying for Rain in Denver on Aug. 28

Would it be wrong to pray for rain of Biblical proportions to fall during Barack Obama’s televised outdoor acceptance speech during the Democratic National Convention Aug. 28 in Denver? That question is the central focus of an extremely funny video that was put together by Focus on the Family’s Stuart Shepard.

An article in the Rocky Mountain News yesterday — via Drudge — alerted me to the existence of the video which, unfortunately, was pulled from the Focus web site after a number of complaints were received.  As a result, I had to link to the only available online version of the video -- posted by an anti-Focus YouTuber — so ignore the “more info” text on the right side of the YouTube page and ENJOY!

As for me and my house, we’ll be praying for heavy rain at Invesco Field on the evening of Aug. 28 in Denver.
